Tips Tricks & General Knowledge About Digital Signage
Color Helps...
An easy to implement practice is to color code areas of the screen.
In most Digital Signage deployments, users have limited attention or time to view the information the screens are displaying.
By using color to identify areas or types of content, you can aid the users in locating and connecting with the message in a timely fashion. For example; Blue = events of the day, Green = special announcements. Colored frames around content areas will train users to expect a particular type of content to populate a frame of a certain color.
Be consistent and simple in your use of color coding. Too many colors can stretch user’s attention and ability to grasp the information you are trying to convey.
TIP: Big Colors!
